AKAMud is free to use for playing text MUDs.

- You may use it without charge, for as long as you like.
- You may share the unmodified installer with other players — though we
  recommend getting the latest version from the official download page,
  and checking the published SHA-256 if you received it second-hand.
- You may not modify, rebrand, or sell AKAMud, or distribute a changed
  version of it.
- Third-party components included in AKAMud are covered by their own
  licences — see THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md, installed alongside the app.

AKAMud is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or
implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors accept no
liability for any loss or damage arising from its use, including loss
of characters, settings, or data.
